Package: librsvg2-bin Version: 2.26.3-1 Severity: wishlist File: /usr/bin/rsvg-convert
When converting a simple SVG logo into PostScript, rsvg-convert always generates a fallback image. This turns what would be a 5968-byte file into a 609678-byte file. In other words, it increases the size more than 100-fold. I have no need for this extra data and don't really want it at all. Please provide an option to disable this fallback image, or (better yet) provide an option to enable the image and disable it by default. -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.32-5-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages librsvg2-bin depends on: ii libc6 2.10.2-8 Embedded GNU C Library: Shared lib ii libcairo2 1.8.10-4 The Cairo 2D vector graphics libra ii libglib2.0-0 2.24.1-1 The GLib library of C routines ii libgtk2.0-0 2.20.1-1 The GTK+ graphical user interface ii librsvg2-2 2.26.3-1 SAX-based renderer library for SVG ii libx11-6 2:1.3.3-3 X11 client-side library ii python 2.5.4-9 An interactive high-level object-o librsvg2-bin recommends no packages. librsvg2-bin suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- brian m. carlson / brian with sandals: Houston, Texas, US +1 832 623 2791 | http://www.crustytoothpaste.net/~bmc | My opinion only OpenPGP: RSA v4 4096b: 88AC E9B2 9196 305B A994 7552 F1BA 225C 0223 B187
