Upstream plan to maintain this package in Debian, but need to rewrite how the documentation is handled (from LaTeX to RST) to be able to generate the HTML documentation without non-free dependencies first. In the mean time, we have agreed that I will upload a package without the HTML documentation and co-maintain it with upstream. I am working on the upload now.
