The standard format is used in 3.0-2 in experimental (waiting for libc
2.3.5 to migrate to unstable).  I will need to figure out some way to
configure the logging format in the future, as well as cope with the
different logging behavior of Ubuntu and Debian (Ubuntu doesn't use
daemon names in its log messages, so a generic logger needs to deal
with that somehow unless we want yet more gratuitous Ubuntu patching).
