Thank you for bug resolution.
Just a note: the spurious messages during the boot phase happens both
inside the initramfs and in the normal boot.
Until the next update-initramfs your corrections are not applied to the
initramfs so various spurious messages are still visible.
For users: run "update-initramfs -u" or wait for some package to trigger
that update.
For maintainer: maybe an update-initramfs should be triggered.
