We can confirm this bug in pstops (which is not limited to printing from Windows). Any postscript job submitted going through the pstops filter will lose its duplex setting and come out simplex. Substituting the pstops filter with the one from etch (and installing a dependent copy of libgnutls.so.13) as suggested here is a work-around, but not a very satisfactory one.
