Amongst the above, here's what I have installed currently on my system: xserver-common 2:1.7.6-1 xserver-xorg-core 2:1.7.6-1 xserver-xorg-dev 2:1.7.6-1 The server hangs 8 seconds when I switch back to it from a console. The problem, as pointed out before, is with the WACOM serial device.
