Hi,

With every upload of emacs-goodies-el, I receive this message:

With all due respect, the section "lisp" is meaningless to users. The
"-el" package name suffix tells the users that these are Emacs add-ons,
but having lisp as a section is similar to having a section called "C"
and putting all programs written in C in that section. You wouldn't do
that because users don't care what language the code is written in in
order to use the code. So why do it for elisp?

If the point is showing that the packages in that section are Emacs
add-ons, then why not use the name "Emacs" instead?

Thanks,
Peter
