I turns out this really wasn't a network-manager issue, I tried various tweaking/hacking options and what I end up right now is that my applets are gone after suspend.
I return networking and applets with: /etc/init.d/dbus restart and after that I run nm-applet/nm-applet --sm-disable and bluetooth-applet and everything seems to be working again. Feel free to close this bug, since it was fixed after my last update. Adnan
