If somebody else wants to take over, please go ahead. I became distracted by real life back in 2007, and never got back to it. Someone offered took it over at a later point (the exchange is somewhere in the debianGIS email list archives, I can't seem to find it now), but it seems that someone never finished their attempt either. I thought ownership of the ITP was changed in the process, but it obviously wasn't. Either way, as I said, please go ahead and take over.
