ok, non-searching issue caused by the still unsolved bug of navit being
unable to handle more than one enabled mapset and <xi:include
href="$NAVIT_SHAREDIR/maps/*.xml"/> being enabled by default (i still
don't know where $NAVIT_SHAREDIR would be).
the artifacts are shown with an europe map from jan 21st, but not with a
new one from today. so, it was rather caused by the map (and/or some
changes in navit handling it?) and is solved now.
