It "depends" (pun, sorry). Do you want to explicitly *keep* the
dependency on old emacs? If yes, I agree that my NMU can simply be
disregarded, closing this bug explaining that dependency on old emacs
should be kept on purpose. If no, then the dependency must go, and my
NMU stands.
