Thanks a lot for looking into this. I'll grab the patch from HEAD and add
it to the next upload of the Debian package.
Unfortunately, the "patch" will be big. Due to the gravity of the
problem, I expect to cut another release by the end of this weekend,
and perhaps earlier.
