This looks like a bug which is being investigated by the Gnome people in https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=598211
I can confirm that when reproducing this on my Debian Testing install "xsmp->priv->conn" is NULL in xsmp_stop (in gsm-xsmp-client.c.); and that the crash doesn't happen after applying the hack in https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=598211#c27 Note, the Gnome devs are working on a better fix. Also, I reproduced the problem by using GKSU, perhaps there is a bug with that which needs addressing? (I don't know if its meant to cause the state which was causing Gnome session problems.) -- Tixy -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
