Hello, apt-get source reports an error while trying to acquire locks under /var/lib/apt/lists - apt-get is run without root superuser power, - non other apt/aptitude processes are running at the same time, - except for downloading source packages from time to time, I do not use apt (I assume this is the reason why the lock files where not available); I use aptitude for system maintenance and installation of new packages. - the problem was solved by manually creating the required files as a root user.
