Hi I performed some tests with guesnet v0.49 and Squeeze Debian
on my Acer Aspire One Netbook and it was reporting the "Unknown pcap error..."
being impossible to detect and configure the eth0-static iface.
And everytime it defaulted to my eth0-dhcp iface entry.
See below a workaround that worked for me:
in my 'eth0-static' profile I changed the line
test peer address 192.168.1.2 mac xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx
to:
test peer mac xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx source 192.168.1.10
So In my case it seems that this error message had something to do with the
peer test at the address parameter.
