Sorry, no, having an extra switch called --arch does not accomplish
what I asked.
I asked for apt-ftparchive to be more intelligent when parsing the
configuration and generating the Packages list of each architecture it
finds, instead of generating identical Packages files for each
architecture. Having a switch to specify which architecture to parse
does NOT accomplish that.
