I found a very similar bugreport on the freedesktop bugzilla and added my own information, see http://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=24857. Does it still make sense to create a bugreport against the debian xserver-xorg-video- radeon and/or libdrm-radeon1 packages? > I'm not sure about the proper course of action here. It is quite usable, but at the same time it is far from stable and has missing stuff when compared to 2.49b. So also from that perspective I don't think it is ready enough. As I understand there will be another alpha in the coming weeks and then after some time a proper release ( http://www.blendernation.com/blender- developer-meeting-minutes-february-14-2010 ). The first 'proper' blender with the new codebase is supposed to be finished by the middle of this year. Maybe it is a good idea to wait for the first beta before moving to unstable and hope that the X situation has improved by then...
