This is still not fixed. For example:

In the bug closing attempt I see the following

* reverted to libjpeg62-dev. Closes: #569743
* removed tiff support until conflict with libjpeg62 is resolved
* removed quilt build dependency
However, if you do "ldd" on "jpeg.so" you can see it has NOT reverted to
jpeg62 but continues to use jpeg8
