This shouldn't happen when using --fast-import. It's caused by the fact that you ignore the files in your git configuration so git-import-orig has a hard time to find out where the file comes from. This is avoided by using fast-import. I have patches that use fast-import for everything but this needs more testing. Cheers, -- Guido
