Package: openbox Version: 3.4.10-1 Severity: important Hello
I’m a happy user of Xfce, including xfce4-session 4.6.1-1. Until today, I had both Xfwm4 and Openbox installed, and I noticed that Xfwm4 was launched at session start, not Openbox. I assumed it was a problem in my configuration. However, I finally removed Xfwm4, and now I have no window manager running when I start my session. I don’t know if it’s a bug in the Openbox configuration files (it’s all XDG-compliant though) or in xfce4-session. Thanks for considering this. -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.32-trunk-686 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=fr_FR.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=fr_FR.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages openbox depends on: ii libc6 2.10.2-2 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libglib2.0-0 2.22.4-1 The GLib library of C routines ii libice6 2:1.0.6-1 X11 Inter-Client Exchange library ii libobparser21 3.4.10-1 parsing library for openbox ii libobrender21 3.4.10-1 rendering library for openbox them ii libsm6 2:1.1.1-1 X11 Session Management library ii libstartup-notification0 0.10-1 library for program launch feedbac ii libx11-6 2:1.3.3-1 X11 client-side library ii libxau6 1:1.0.5-1 X11 authorisation library ii libxext6 2:1.1.1-2 X11 miscellaneous extension librar ii libxinerama1 2:1.1-2 X11 Xinerama extension library ii libxml2 2.7.6.dfsg-2+b1 GNOME XML library ii libxrandr2 2:1.3.0-2 X11 RandR extension library ii libxrender1 1:0.9.5-1 X Rendering Extension client libra Versions of packages openbox recommends: ii openbox-themes 1.0.2 Themes for the Openbox window mana Versions of packages openbox suggests: pn libxml2-dev <none> (no description available) ii menu 2.1.43 generates programs menu for all me ii obconf 2.0.3-3 Preferences manager for Openbox wi ii python 2.5.4-9 An interactive high-level object-o ii ttf-dejavu 2.30-2 Metapackage to pull in ttf-dejavu- -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
