For me Linux does not find TMDS panel connected to a mac mini. Applying http://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/intel-gfx/2009-December/004979.html fixes the problem for me on kernel.org 2.6.32 but the patch still applies on Debian 2.6.32-1-686 (2.6.32.4). The kernel fails to detect some hardware when the i2c bus is in an unexpected state.
