Package: gdbserver
Version: 7.0.1-1
Severity: normal
Hi,
upgrading gdb in unstable fails with:
Selecting previously deselected package gdbserver.
Unpacking gdbserver (from .../gdbserver_7.0.1-1_amd64.deb) ...
dpkg: error processing
/var/cache/apt/archives/gdbserver_7.0.1-1_amd64.deb (--unpack):
trying to overwrite '/usr/share/man/man1/gdbserver.1.gz', which is
also in package gdb 0:7.0-1
dpkg-deb: subprocess paste killed by signal (Broken pipe)
The problem fixes itself at the second attempt (because the new gdb
(which no longer contains the conflicting files) was unpacked after
gdbserver), but for a clean upgrade path this should work the first
time.
