Hi, I get the exact same behaviour described in the original bug report, on a HP 2710p tablet PC (which uses a Wacom digitizer).
Anything I can do to help with the troubleshooting? I would like to help get this fixed, as XInput is clearly desirable, and changing the screen orientation is quite a common thing to want to do while Xournal is running.
