Could you try it? In case you want, there is a script in the tarballs/
directory to checkout and build the orig tarball.
I've looked at it but patches need to be updated and I don't have much time
right now due to exams (plus I'm not experienced on lua stuff, although I've
looked at the upstream diff and it didn't look very difficult). If I have the
time to look at it I'll tell you.
