I've verified that 0.11.12 builds and installs fine with a simple uupdate to the new upstream version, but I'm not in a position to test that it works because I don't have the hardware. Sorry, I know this is a rather tepid recommendation; but FWIW we'll probably have 0.11.12 in Ubuntu (the lucid devel release) shortly.
