Oooh, yes; that's a very good point.  I hadn't considered that.  Ubuntu
did it about 1.5 years ago, but I'm going to go double-check all the users
of it to see when they were compiled.  Ubuntu may have some hidden bugs
here.  Thanks for the heads-up!
