| OK, I've isolated the change in gzio that causes this and will do an
| upload shortly. feof() together with buffering was confusing a new
| change that had been introduce into gzio; that's both changes to gzio.c
| that I'll have reverted.
Thanks for the follow-up (and the next one on R-specific behaviour with the
double checking).
I am reassigning this one to zlib and look forward to a shiny new -3 revision
that fixes things on the feof() side of things.
