The project I had in mind to use Jannson probably won't now, at least until it starts parsing json instead of just generating it. I still think the library should be in Debian, but since I'm not using it myself, I'm probably not as good a choice for maintainer. Still, I will probably get around to it eventually if no one else does. It just depends on your timeline.
