Right. Many thanks for you help and perseverance.

I'll try to make clear whether I have read or not your last message (I
had), and the time-frame I will need to do the necessary work.

Yes, please.

I've prepared an updated package and uploaded it to a public
webserver [1].

Please note I have some Debian packaging background, but have never
prepared a package aimed at being uploaded to the One True Debian
Archive. I've done my best so that this first one is not in too bad
a shape (using a clean sid chroot with cowbuilder, running lintian
from sid, carefully reading the .dsc/.changes files, running debdiff,
etc.), but I'd be surprised if I had made no single newbie error.

The main thing I was wondering about is the NMU-or-not status of the
upload we're preparing: I filled the Changelog entry with the current
(collective) maintainer's address (i.e. [email protected]), the
Changed-By: field is set to this e-mail address as well, but as you
(Christian) are the one who will do the actual upload, I really don't
know whether I should have prepared a NMU or not. The related parts of
the Developer's Reference didn't helped me to decide. Please tell me
if I made the wrong decision, I'll be happy to learn and fix it.
