There is a transition of libdevstat6 -> libdevstat7, unfortunately binNMU does not suffices due to 8.x kernel headers.
If you already have the patch for the new libdevstat library, the simplest solution is for you to do a NMU and send the diff. This way you can upload it together with the new libdevstat.
I expressed it uncleanly. The problem have been this: 2.28.0-3 kfreebsd-amd64 Sun Nov 22 22:43:10 2009 maybe-successful 2.28.0-3+b1 kfreebsd-amd64 Sun Dec 6 22:46:36 2009 maybe-failed It failed due to new 8.x kernel header. The 2.28.0-4 solved it: 2.28.0-4 kfreebsd-amd64 Tue Dec 15 11:49:35 2009 maybe-successful 2.28.0-4 kfreebsd-i386 Tue Dec 15 11:59:33 2009 maybe-successful The 2.28.0-4 already depends on new libdevstat7 library. Version: 2.28.0-4 Architecture: kfreebsd-amd64 Maintainer: Sebastien Bacher <seb...@debian...> Installed-Size: 156 Depends: libc0.1 (>= 2.3), libdevstat7, libgeom0, libglib2.0-0 (>= 2.18.0), libkvm0, libxau6, libgtop2-common (>= 2.28.0-4) Thanks for your patience with kfreebsd-* Petr -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
