I've just checked quickly on IRC with Barry, but it looks like there's no way to know whether dinstall is still running, or if it's done. Could you please make it possible to check whether it's running? That can be very helpful when one is working on a chain of Build-Depends, tracking down installability issues that can be fixed in a given package provided it gets accepted, etc. Especially when that affects almost any java-related package on Earth. (I'm interested in java-gcj-compat-dev and friends, and it would be nice to trigger give-backs only when relevant, but also ASAP to make sure packages are really fixed.
