Actually yate 2.1 has been released. It still looks for zaptel and is not aware of DAHDI. The SVN repo of pkg-voip has packaging of yate 2.1. It needs some extra work. Specifically regarding Zaptel those packages build-depend on dahdi-source but in practice the build fails to find zaptel and does not build that optional module.
