Package: ion3 Version: 20050502-2 Severity: minor It seems that the whitespace in the statusbar after 'mail:' and before the indication of the number of messages continually grows. I've noticed this several times now but I'm still not quite sure exactly which rules it follows; however, it seems that going from something like "100/100" to 0 messages leads to " 0/0" and that causes more and more whitespace over time. A screenshot is attached.
My config file has not been modified. Looking at it, I see it talking
about "stretchable space":
-- Space preceded by % adds stretchable space. > before meter name
-- aligns right, < left, and | centers.
template="[ %date || load:% %>load || mail:% %>mail_new/%>mail_total ]",
I have no idea what this is supposed to mean but I think there's a bug
somewhere. If this is indeed the purpose of 'stretchable space',
maybe the default should not include it. Also, it would be nice to
clarify what 'stretchable space' really means.
(Oh, and there's some trailing whitespace in cfg_statusbar.lua.)
