first of all, thanks a lot for that great tool, I am using it daily a lot since I am living in Japan. but I sometimes get a complete hang that pulls down all my gnome-terminals. The gtk-panel-gtk stucks completely, mostly when I do some hot-switching between input methods. The bar is still there, but Ctrl-Space does not make it disappear. For some time I can continue typing and even switch input method, but no response is shown. Then all the terminals (well, in fact with gnome-terminal it is only one) freeze: No redraw, all becomes gray. The rest of the system continues working without any problem. Iceweasel browsing, starting programs (but another terminal) etc. I SysRq-t out and attach parts of it syslog.gz. It contains the scim related tasks, plus gnome-terminal. After that I started to kill the scim processes one by one which worked without a problem, but scim-panel-gtk, which needed a kill -9. After that everything started to work again, also the scim panel was restarted but not fully functional. Anyway that is not so important. Hope you can make something out of that, and let me know if you have hany other question. Ah yes, no messages in .xsession-errors, no core dumps. And it is not the first time that this happened, I only have ignored it till now.
