Package: wicd

Severity: normal

Hi David,

I am getting this bug very very often and each time, I do have to manually
reconnect (through the GUI or the -curses). Sometimes I do get such tings in
my syslog:

kernel: [76182.176305] wlan0: no probe response from AP 00:11:92:ee:05:63 -
disassociating

This is an iwl3945 Intel Wireless card, which works otherwise fine. After I
got such a log, all my connections (mail, IRC, …) get down but without
notice (as if I had cut a wire).

When I manually reconnect, I get warnings for cut connections and I have to
restart all of them manually. This is _very_ annoying and I would be to rise
the severity of this bug to something RC, but I'll let that up to you.

I am ready to help, just ask ! (OdyX on IRC…)

Best regards,

OdyX
