daemon:

Attempting to connect without a password results in a "401:
Unauthorized" error. Attempting to set the username/password with "-t -u
test -v test" instead of -T results in identical behavior.
Expected behavior:
* -T: no authentication required, so a web client should connect
without being challenged for a username/password
* -t -u test -v test: a web client should connect with the username
"test" and the password "test"
