README.Debian is normally meant to state "extra details or discrepancies between the original package and [the] debianized version". What I want to say is that it is not meant to replace upstream documentation. > > > Adding "linux_specific_checks" to DISABLE_TESTS is the right thing to do, > > > right? > > Actually, on stable one has to add "os_specific", dunno if this is still true > for unstable. > > > But be careful, as advised in the previous bug report, it could be > > changed in the future to add more tests, unrelated to modules. > > I'd hope this would be mentioned in NEWS.Debian ;) At least, it should be stated in upstream changelog, which I am sure you carefully read on each upgrade... > > I close this bug as it is not actually a bug. > > I've reopened it, as missing documentation is a bug. Not as you first described it. I will however keep it open (but tagged as wontfix) as I think what you want is a precise description of each test available in rkhunter. This is something I had requested a long time ago: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&aid=1814577&group_id=155034&atid=794190 If you have spare time, I am pretty sure upstream developers would much appreciate your help on this matter ;) Cheers, Julien -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
