I reassigned it to mutter, as I foudn out gnome-session decided to use mutter instead of metacity at some point (without asking me) and mutter has so many bugs. I had to purge mutter from my computer to get gnome-session using metacity again. Now also another bug (crash of gnome-settings-daemon is gone 553000). So I guess most of the problems came from switching to mutter. I cloned that bug and reassigned it to gnome-session.
