1. It breaks behavior compared to upstream. 2. It renders any package using find_package(FindJNI) impossible to compile. Isn't it the definition of important bug ? You have decided to apply a patch to a project (think: openssl/debian), fine, but now you should at least take responsabilities. I cannot use cmake from any debian repos, because of that. I had to revert to a upstream cmake 2.6.4. I am NOT disregarding your work, but you need to realize that it *actually* breaks compilation.
