Hi, I had a quick look at the package and noticed that it does not link directly against libssl. Obviously the linking happens due to the build depend on libcurl-dev which is provided by libcurl4-gnutls-dev and libcurl4-openssl-dev. Its probably worth to test weither the package works well with libcurl4-gnutls-dev instead of libcurl4-openssl-dev.
Adrian, are you a user of wmweather+? Eventually with some knowledge how to test wmweather+ so that SSL would be used? If yes, would you mind testing a version of wmweather+ linked again gnutls if I would provide you with one?
