of them are displayed as a small box with numbers/letter inside (I guess this
is their code).
Why a kanji is displayed like this is rather weird : if I look for "deai"
(encounter) in gjiten, in the first match "ai" is written as a box with "4F1A"
inside and in the second match it is written properly.
I tried to enable all the japanese locales but with no success.
This bug affects all the apps I have tried (konqueror, mozilla and the like).
This probably comes from missing font packages.
Did you run the install in japanese or did you run it in another
language and later tried to add some font packages ?
In the first case, this might be a bug in tasksel, with missing font
packages in the task.
Unfortunately, this is the latter one.
