The 2.6 kernel uses significantly more memory than 2.4, so we only really support 2.4 in low memory mode. > Question : when in low-memory mode, if there already is a swap > partition, at the beginning, why not use it? Anyway, I see no indication that bug #294654 has anything to do with low memory (that machine had 512 mb of ram), and the problem reported in #294654 comes well after the machine enables swap. -- see shy jo
