Hi!
Please find attached a fix for this bug. I was not able to build the
package successfully, though, since I got this error:
running build_gobject_ext
External program pkg-config exited with error 1.
dh_auto_build: python returned exit code 1
make: *** [build] Error 1
dpkg-buildpackage: error: debian/rules build gave error exit status 2
