Package: network-manager-vpnc-gnome Version: 0.7.1-1 Severity: important I had problems with NM not asking me for VPN passwords, even though I had specified that it should ask. There was a dbus-related error message in daemon.log for every connection attempt. It was a known problem in ubuntu, and a patch has been supplied there:
