Package: xscreensaver Version: 5.10-2 XScreenSaver has an entry in /etc/X11/Xsession.d that starts it automatically. This entry has to go.
The problem is that xscreensaver should not start automatical. Many desktop- environments has wrappers around xscreensaver. When xscreensaver starts by itself it no longer respects any user settings which are currently set in the desktop environment. Solution is simple: Remove /etc/X11/Xsession.d/80xscreensaver_start -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
