Just start it up. Sigsegv. evolution --force-shutdown Try again, same result. No fresh install, have been using it a couple of years. Once in a while there is a new version, it doesnt work and for some time I have to resort to iceweasel to access my OWA. You want me to remove the .evolution stuff?
