Hi,

I think I should confirm this bug?

Today's aptitude update brought me udev 146-3. This causes
linux-image-2.6.30-1-686 to boot incorrectly, with for instance these messages:

sh cannot kill pid 563 no such process
mknod //dev/ppp read-only file system

X starts, but hangs, keyboard locks up and a hard reset is required.

I can boot into 2.6.29-2-686 & reverting to udev/testing allow me to
boot into 2.6.30-1-686.

Hope this helps? I'm studying /var/log/messages to see if I can come up
with something more useful..

Regards,

Gijs
