Do you plan on updating pandoc any time soon? This release has been out for a while - is there a reason you're holding off? If you don't have time to work on the package any longer, the recenly formed Debian Haskell Group would love to take it over, along with pcre-light. You could join the group and co-maintain it there if you like. Alternatively if you only temporarily lack time, I'd be grateful for your permission to NMU. Please let us know of your intentions.
