We are considering to remove kaffe from the repositories, since upstream is dead, it lacks active maintaince from our side and we have free alternatives. preferably you should switch to one of the following packages: * default-jdk * default-jre * default-jre-headless You should use default-jdk if you need to compile java-files into class-files (or/and copy said files into a jar-file).
