I get: Inconsistency detected by ld.so: dl-open.c: 623: _dl_open: Assertion `_dl_debug_initialize (0, args.nsid)->r_state == RT_CONSISTENT' failed! Also reported on http://share.skype.com/sites/linux/2009/08/skype_for_linux_21_beta.html#comment-144441, s/he proposes removing some ia32 libs as a workaround. Using 64-bit compatible skype's .deb for Ubuntu. David
